Deal or No Deal

Is this a good deal or not? I want a HRM and have read people raving about Polar FT7.

A local sporting goods store has them for $109 but they are doing $20 off today. So that would make it $89 with free shipping.

What are your thoughts?

    I got my HRM polar ft4 for $63 including shipping on amazon

    Thanks. That does help. I'm am perpetually on hold here to see if the local store has it. I was hoping to get it locally for the return policy in case I hate it.

    I got my FT7 on ebay for $100, best price I found. So $89 sounds good.

    I found one on amazon for 69 after shipping. Do you have the flowlink? If so, is it worth the money?

    I got mine off eBay for like $70 with free shipping. And I love my FT7

    I do not have flowlink. I got mine awhile back, so also not sure of current prices

    Seems like no one knows anything about the Flowlink. That's good. I didn't want to spend the money on it anyhow.

    The " Polar's " are awesome ... watch some you tube videos to decide what will work best for you. I use the " FT4 " ... got it on Amazon. I'm new to it ... but seriously, I don't know how I ever didn't use one before ! LOVE it ! :)

    My MIL got an FT7 for me for Christmas. I used it for the first time today and the censor wouldn't stay snapped on one side. I wanted to throw it...she bought it on Amazon, so if it doesn't straighten up I'll have to figure out who to contact. If it's important to you to be able to take it back, then I would go to the store. I kind of wish I could take mine in to a store.

    Bah! I don't want to hear about non snapping stuff on the FT7. I just ordered on off Amazon tonight. Hopefully yours will straighten up or you can return it.
