I was looking to get a heart rate monitor, does anyone know where to get one for a good price or which one is the best? I've never gotten one...

    im shopping for one right now as well. i keep hearing good things about the polars. i was curious about nike too though but havent seen muchabout them.

    Make sure it has a strap, and make sure it will count your calories as you exercise. Only the higher end Polars do that.

    I have a Timex, got it for about $60 on sale. Works great.

    Forget about spending all the money on a Polar. Go for the Reebok XT HRM. It has a strap and counts your calories and you ca get them on Ebay or woot.com for super cheap. I got mine for $40.00
