Is it possible to drop 2lbs (can be water) in time for new years Eve?
I'm 10st 5 (145lbs) I wanted to be 10st 3 for New Year's Eve then I got exactly a stone to lose for my New Years Resolution for 2012 to complete Wii Fit... which says I should be 9st 3 and BMI 22.

Yeah it's possible, you just have to work for it!0

Yes it's possible! Keep your carbs on the very low side no more than 50g/day and increase protein. Eat very clean lean protein. Include some fiber and you should lose that water weight (about 2 lbs maybe more).0

It can't hurt to try - if your body cooperates, it's a win! If it doesn't, well, you're still that much closer to getting where you want to be. Go for it!0

Thanks!... I'll give it a go! :happy:0

for me from experience it is possible but it does creep back on just as fast!0

Prob will anyway... TOTM is due beginning of January! But at least I will have one stone to go from New Years Day...lol!0

It wouldn't really be a healthy way of loosing weight as you should only do 1-2 lbs a wk, and like someone said it does tend to creep back on (speaking from experience here...sigh).0

I drink a lot of water so if I weigh myself right about 2 minutes after I wake up in the morning vs the middle of the day, I can easily fluctuate by a few pounds.0

Exlax and a water pill should do it.0

Cut out carbs for those 2 days to drop the water weight quickly. That can be up to 4 pounds for most people. It IS just water weight though, so keep that in mind - but that's all you can really realistically lose in such a short amount of time.0

All the advise given so far is good, can I add bathing with Epsom salts in the water? It helps to detox the skin and speed water loss. Only temporary but will work for a day or two. Good luck.0

I don't have a bath only a walk in wet room.
I did make it to 10st 3 for todays weigh-in!... probably all gonna go back on again as TOTM is due next week!... but at least just for today I only got 1 stone to go!! :laugh:0 -
