I have a York p12 heart rate watch monitor & cheststrap, does anyone know if i can use the watch without the chest strap as i have lost the user manual. Thanks

    does it have a place to take yur pulse on the watch?

    You need the chest strap because it transmits your heart rate in real time to the watch. It also uses this data to calculate your calories burned. You can use the watch as a watch but not to track your calories burned or your heart rate.
