Is there anyone out there on that stubborn last 15 pounds? Since September I've had this last 15 hanging on, I'll go down a pound then up. I just can't seem to break through this. Any advice or ideas? What did you do? Also I would love anyone that's where I'm at to friend me. I think I need more support from people who can relate to this part of the journey. Thanks so much all!

I have been on my last 15lbs.. since November... I just started Insanity last week. I have decided that I am going to switch my focus to inches lost, put my scale away for a month.. then re-do my inches.. and see where that takes me... But m ultimate goal is to be done by my angel baby's 1st brthday in March.... feel free to friend me if you want0

I've been stuck on my last 8 for several weeks now. I'm planning to do a mini-cleanse (no dairy, no sugar, no alcohol) for 30 days in January to see if that will jumpstart things.0

I'm on my last 15 too....I've found that I need to constantly mix things up to keep the weight coming off. I changed my macros (Carbs, Protein, Fats) on my MFP page to increase my Protein and lower my carbs a bit. Raised my calorie intake. Then I started increasing my weight lifting exercise. Now I try to do cardio on my off days from my weights. I'm noticing differences this past month. Dropped 4 pounds and an inch on my waist. I know these last 15 will take longer....but I think that is a great pace! Especially since I upped my cals to 2000....and am still losing 1/2 to 1 pound a week. I love when MFP tells me I will weigh "this much" in 5 weeks (and it's either the same as where I am now or an increase) and the next week I have lost more weight! lol
I think it's about finding a way to mix things up a bit and push yourself a bit more. But, more importantly, to make sure you are getting the right amount of calories for the work you are doing and also the right balance of nutrients.0 -
I've been stuck since new years as well at 143-144. I tried upping my calories to maintenance, thinking that all of the advice about eating more would pay off, but it didn't. Here I am still at 143-144. I kind of got upset about the whole being stuck thing, along with some other personal issues, and binged all weekend, but the binge is pushing me into gear to go back to 1200 calories. I looked at my diary back when I lost the first 15 (only have 30 total to lose) and it was when I ate 1200 a day. When I changed my goals and upped my calories to 1440 (to lose 1 pound a week not two) is when I stopped losing. I had upped it for the holiday season and never seemed to get it back down. The result? No losses. I thought if I ate maintenance for a while it might help but to no avail. So I'm going to try cutting way back from eating 2000 a day to 1200 a day, and hopefully I will at least see the scale drop to the 130s! Any suggestions from other pals?0
