Breakfast Ideas

Good Morning everyone! I am looking for some healthy, high protein, low carb breakfast ideas for people on the go. I need to eat in my car while I am driving to work (long story, but just trust me on this one), and I am getting SUPER tired of slim-fast shakes. Plus, I want to have a higher calories, higher protein breakfast... and ideas? (And please don't suggest protein bars, yuck.)
Thank You!
Thank You!

What about if you make yourself a smoothie to go? Soy milk, yogurt, and fruit. Have it in the car with some nuts.0

I was going to say make your own smoothies too. So much better for you and more variety than a slim fast shake. I keep frozen fruit and add a good protein along with my fiber every morning. Jay Robb has some great recipies if you go to jayrobb.com you can get lots of ideas.0

I make an egg white sandwich (VERY quickly) and wrap in tin foil for the road, it works great!
I pour the eggs into the pan before I blow dry my hair, then when i'm done...go to the kichen, flip the eggs over and SHUT OFF the burner. Then I get dressed and go back into the kitchen and throw it all together. The other side cooks while the pan cools down without burning. works like a charm (unless i'm out of pre-made egg whites!)0 -
I g rab a green smotthie and a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter.0

Make egg white omelets with veggies for the week. In the morning grab one and put it on low carb bread and go.0

I make a smoothie at home with a scoop of protien powder. I use Yoplait frozen smoothie, a 1/4 cup of Simply Smart Non-fat milk, 1/2 cup of water and 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use Nectar Vanilla). Love it and it keeps me full...around 200 calories and lots of protein.0

I like breakfast burritos, I put 3-4 egg whites in a bowl in the microwave, nuke for 45 seconds, go do something, stir cook another 45 seconds, do something else, check them for doneness, cook an extra 30 seconds if needed, i normally put it on a low carb wheat tortilla spread with 1/4 c fat free refried beans, and top with cheese and salsa, roll up and breakfast on the go- word of advice, try it without the salsa until you know if you'll be wearing any. I normally separate my eggs, and measure everything the night before, so i have breakfast in less than 5 minutes.0
