We just got a Kinect for Christmas. Can you recommend any games for strength training or cardio? Looking for a good workout and something fun. Thanks!

zumba is really fun. I haven't tried any others but you can go to amazon or somewhere for reviews, I'm sure. Biggest Loser is probably a good option0

We just have a few of the regular games like adventure quest (or something like that) and a sonic racing game and they are pretty good workouts... I'm tired after 30 minutes or so and I'm in decent shape! I would like to try the fitness evolved game it looks like a challenge!0

We just got Dance Central 2 for the Kinect and I love it...there is also a boxing/street fighter one that is pretty cool although not super family-friendly.0

We just purchased one as well. I have the Biggest Loser Ultimate workout, and its ok. But honestly, nothing gets my heart rate up like playing Reflex Ridge on the Adventures pack that usually comes with the Kinect! Seriously! I burned 265 calories playing that game! Give that one a try- as you move on, the levels get harder and your heart rate will be soaring from all that jumping!0

I have "Your Shape Fitness Evolved." I think there's a newer one out. This one is an exercise program. You can select your workouts.
Also, I like Dance Central. There is a setting where it will count your calories burned. I don't know if I trust the counter, but dancing sure raises my heart rate! In my living room, I'm the queen of the dance floor!
I have been interested in the sports game also, but I don't have it.0 -
We use Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012. It has quite a few options, boot camp, cardio boxing, yoga. aerobics, dance, strength and more. It has the potential to kick your butt, and both my 13 yr old and I have fun with it too. Fruit ninja is fun and will get you moving.0

The Jillian Michaels Fitness Aventure is a good one, if you can find it. They seem to be selling out as fast as they can order them around here.
The graphics are decent, and unlike many other Kinect games, you have an actual video of yourself in the lower right corner, with a video of Jillian in the lower left, so you can compare how you look doing the exercises to how she looks, and correct accordingly. She also intersperses cardio (running) with strength training, so it's a heck of a workout if you can keep up!0
