I didn't just fall off the wagon...

The wheels have come completely off!
I can make all sorts of excuses... In-Laws showed up 3 days late and without a hint of when they were leaving... My father in law got completely disoriented and lost in the mall for longer than an hour on Christmas Eve... He has had 'accidents' in his pants while here at my house, I've found that he's been cleaning up urine (I assume from the bathroom floor) with my bath towels and stashing them around here and there... My mother in law, along with not eating any veggies or fruit (except potatoes) and only deep fried foods (claims allergies or something) can't reach to put her own socks on her feet. The aren't yet 70 years old!)
They left this morning...
Kids are home from school, Hubby is off work... lots of holiday gatherings, too many treats in the house, trying to be a good hostess...
Awwww! Crumb! This sucks and I know I just have to get off my ever-expanding butt and move it... but I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself.
Thanks for letting me vent...:explode:

Vent it out, and then go take out some frustration at the gym! It sounds like you need some me time anyway! You will be back on track in no time!

Now that you got that out of your system, you can focus on you.

Do whatever you need to do to vent but then get back on the wagon and start moving in the right direction.

Wow! I'm sorry that your life isa little crazy right now. A trip to the gym or a long brisk walk outside might get the endorphins moving and help you feel better. Be kind to yourself and do some sort of self care like a long tub soak or have your husband takethe kids to a movie so you can have the house to yourself. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: For you. Be well.

Arghhhhhhh...sounds like you have your hands full!!! I DO understand about having days off and too much holiday food around. Just remember that you can start putting that cart back together one wheel at a time. Nobody's perfect and you CAN get back on track and you CAN put the wheels back on the cart. If all you can do is start slowly, then start slowly. If it helps to vent here, keep on yelling for us about what's going on. If not, then maybe use a pillow as a punching bag and let some of the frustrations out!!! :)

You CAN do it. Take a deep breath and know that even if you (and I did, too) messed up, we can get going again...and we will.

Good luck. Hope things take a change for the better soon!!!!

I say forget the "wagon & the wheels" .....your human and you have 2 feet (so put one in front of the other) keep moving forward, small steps, are in my opinion best and better than none, just keep heading in the general direction of Healthy and you'll get there.
  • Wow sounds like rough going over the holidays, its behind you all except wiping it from your mind. New year coming up time to reset the goals full steam ahead.
