I know exactly how you feel, I was so disciplined before the holidays, but with Thanksgiving last month, my birthday the beginning of this month, and then Christmas, I completely fell off the wagon and had more cookies than I could count. I definitely gained 5lbs, and so much of me kept thinking screw it, I've already gained I might as well keep indulging, but then I had to remind myself that yes I loved the cookies, and no they weren't going away forever, I can still treat myself to cookies, cake, ice cream, whatever I want, just in moderation, not all day everyday like I did during the holidays. I won't lie it's definitely hard, because I live with my family and they still have cookies, cakes, pies, etc right there, but I just keep my eye on the prize, and remind myself why I'm doing this!! Also if it helps, on Christmas day I decided, to reward myself for ever 5lbs lost. I figure I love shopping, and for some reason there's always something I really want. I typed out the list and put pictures of the things I want and I have one on my mirror in my room, one in my car, and a picture of the list on the background of my phone, and so far that seems to really keep me motivated to stay away from the sweets and keep working out! I hope this helps!!0

Throw away the chocolate...now! lol Seriously, if you have it in the house, you're going to eat it.
As far as the eating out, you can do that, but decide what you are going to eat before you go. Make the right choices....most places have a lighter menu to choose from...can't go wrong with grilled chicken, club sandwich, salad...even pasta(in moderation).
You are one of the biggest inspirations on here to me. Don't fail me now! xoxo0 -
I know how you feel. I'm in the same boat. Exactly the same boat. Plus I hate the changes on this site. I don't even feel like checking in anymore. Am I the only one who feels that way?0

get rid of it! i'm telling you, i went/am going through the same thing. i opened up a snicker's christmas bar and was about to swallow the thing whole...but i caught myself and just threw it away. if you can't handle the temptation, get rid of it!
you've come so far, don't let a little self-indulgence slow you down. get a healthy alternative. J-E-L-L-O! tastes great too! use a smaller spoon and savor each bite!
good luck! hope i helped0 -
i to know how you fee as sadly i am in the same boat when Christmas started its like i just threw everything away and i have eaten so much crap food witch i have found has made me very lazy & tired not wanting to exercise.. thankfully my b.f today threw out every bit of junk food we had left over from Christmas so i cant come home and snack on it.. i am determined to get back on the wagon and loose my last 5 kgs .. i know you can do it too feel free to add me and we can help each other out0

WOw!!!! You have come so far! You are over half way there~~~ Don't stop now!!!! You can beat this thing girl! I am singing to the choir here, cuz' I am in the same boat too... and I JUST started. I am having a REAL problem. I have been 3 weeks without pepsi & I started having a little here & a little there... Now, I want it EVERYDAY... multiple times a day!! Girl... WE can do this!!!! You are such an inspiration to me!!! One thing I have started doing is carrying a gal jug of water with me everywhere. And I bought one of those re-useable cups to help me drink more... But before that, a friend told me to fill my McDonalds cup with ice & water & that it would feel kind of like a pop... It totally does!!! It worked for a long time... like a week and a half.. now, I just have to remind myself of the greater good ahead... a smaller healthier me!!!! :O) My family also likes out to eat & junk food... I just have to say NO to myself. Come on you can do this!! Let's do this together!!0

Sounds like we're all in the same boat. I almost cried when I got on the scale Tuesday. Luckily it was a lot of water weight but not all of it. It was a reality check though I was at 48 pounds lost and now I have to lose 4 of those pounds a second time. Left over pie went straight to the garbage can, cookies went to the neighbors. No more mindless snacking for me! I've put in 11 miles (walking) since tuesday, and have been drinking so much water I feel like I may float away any second. Maybe join a challenge to have a little extra motivation! Feel free to add me0

It's extremely difficult to jump start when you feel like this, but you will get the courage to continue!! I was the same exact way and gained 3.9 but got back into my healthy eating today. Last night I was like ok enough is enough!!! I felt so much better when eating healthy and working out compared to eating like CRAP and being lazy. Tomorrow is a brand new day! Get up and get moving!! You know you will feel so much better when you get moving! Good luck sweets! Let us know if you need anything else!0
