How do you pass off those home-baked desserts your co-workers bring in?
The holidays are over, but my co-workers are still bringing in goodies :(

Help..........How can I avoid them?

I am having the same problem at work. I learn just to say no thank you and keep chewing my gum. I am chewing the desserts delight and I do not crave those things.

Or you can just a bite. I heard, that restricting your self of those things can be bad because when you do break and cave in you will eat more than what you need. I am no expert but it worth a try.

I found pulled a human hair out of my mouth earlier this year after biting into one & someone else found a cat hair in the same batch.
I was never crazy about homemade "goodies" anyway, but that killed any temptation.

If it looks especially good I have a small piece and log it. Otherwise remember you don't have to eat it just because it's there... this is not your last chance to have a cookie. YOU have to choose when you have a treat.

I follow the suggestion that Scott mentioned. Just have a bite of ONE thing. That is something my diabetes dietician told me - denying everything just makes you crave it more sometimes. Portion control is a good thing if you can do it. I have found that my craving for certain foods has lessened after doing this for about 45 days.
