Not sure WHY you are feeling that way but it's not a good thing to do to yourself. Looking at your pics you look great. Instead of whining though you could work out MORE and that would solve your problem..you could eat better 24/7 and that would solve your problem. There are people on here REALLY trying to lose and they really should be seeing your comments. What if someone who really has a weigh problem sees this? What if you discourage them?

Girl you are doing an amazing job....we all have down days but don't get frustrated....people aren't complimenting you because they are trying to make you feel better they are doing it because you are kicking *kitten*!
I have been doing this for a year now and can honestly say there are going to be alot of times where the scale just doesn't cooperate but it will move again!!!
Love you sexy!!!0 -

I am really tryin to loose weight to and Im trying really hard.. Im not whining. Im here for support just like everyone else. Im not at a healthy BMI... Arent we all here for support to lean on eachother and help eachother no matter how we are feeling... ?0 -
I have the same issue. I have lost 18 lbs and old clothes are too big and the next size down is fitting nicely. But, I keep seeing the same girl in the mirror! You just have to accept the compiments and learn to love yourself.0

This sounds more mental than physical to me . You do look great and I know you are making great progress . I don't think your mind caught up with your body yet .
We are our own worst critics. Be kinder to yourself and allow yourself to be proud of how far you have come and how great you look on the outside and feel on the inside . You deserve it !
Keep it up0 -
I have the same issue. I have come a long way in a year and I get great comments, but I want more progression, as soon as I get to one level I want more. Probably not a good thing.0

I don't think she discouraged anyone. I think anyone should feel free to come here and post any insecurities. We are all here to support one another on their journeys. I know a lot of people feel this way. It is hard to keep losing weight when you are not seeing the results yourself.0 -

However well-intentioned this reply might've been, it still made you sound like a complete jackA$s :indifferent:0 -
No ones issues are any less. We all have issues and you shouldn't down play someone elses because she is not a certain weight! Right?!!!0

this, for sure. i often think that the physical challenge of losing weight and being healthy is a LOT easier than the mental challenge... because able to motivate yourself and acknowledge progress that you have made can be tricky. sometimes it feels like its all for nothing... but of course thats not true. your health and happiness are always worth it. hang in there and try not to get discouraged0 -
We are always our own worst critic. People don’t typically come out of the blue and make a compliment about how good you look etc unless it is noticeable. You are beautiful. Keep it up.0

We all have those moments and thoughts. You never know - those people may not be comfortable in their own skin either. We are ALWAYS our own worst critics.
Maybe its time to stop looking in the mirror and start looking inside yourself. There is so much more to the weightloss journey than the weight loss itself. Find yourself- learn to love you - inside first - then out0 -
It's interesting you bring this up because I was just listening to the radio this morning about a program out there to help inspire positive self talk. They said we have a bunch of "mean girls" living in our heads... that constantly try to bring us down. One they called the Comparison Queen. She's constantly comparing you to other people. I realized I actually do this A LOT!!! And it's totally unhealthy! But if it makes you feel any better... you're obviously not alone. I'll tell you what I've been telling myself since I heard that radio show... You're all kinds of wonderful!!! Own it!
Own were you're at... your progress... your imperfections... they make you, you!!!0 -

I have to say I feel the previous quote was rather harsh, you can raise your opinions but do you need to be so negative and sound nasty? As stated we're all here for the same reason- want to lose weight, improve our health and get support from others to know we're in the same boat. You say what if someone with a serious weight problem saw it but you dont know the history...maybe she had a serious weight problem she's battling through...and anyway is'nt it a weight problem regardless???
I have to say you are looking great in your pic hun and dont forget the good work you've done so far. i had a quiet month before and you do feel deflated when you know your doing right but as already stated it will move again, have a chnage in routine/ workout my body seemed to be gettign use to m program after 8 weeks so i totally changed it and weight loss has again started and remained steady.
Keep up the good work and dont let other peoples comments affect you, there maybe a time he wants/ needs support after a bad day and may not get it. x0 -
Totally agree!!! Plus, no one is forced to read message boards. I think responses like this are discouraging and negative, not someone who is posting about problems they are having.
On another note, you are soo beautiful and making great progress. I know you will bust through this problem soon enough! And, I know how you feel0 -

Nothing good can come from comparing yourself to other people. You are who you are for a reason.0
