I haven't been feeling well for the last couple weeks so I haven't worked out at all. I had an appointment today with my trainer and I refused to miss it...... I love my sessions. They are always challenging and today was no different except that he asked me to do something I never thought I could do... a set (well 3 sets of 16) of rows from a plank position.... I ROCKED IT!!!!!!

What is something you have tried recently that you never thought you could do?

  • Today I ran a mile nonstop when before I couldn't even run a 1/16th of that distance before running out of breath. :)
    Nice NSV btw!
  • YEAH! I have started running again too, but I do 3 minutes jogging and 1 minute walking.... alternating it makes it easier for me;)

    Awesome!! Congratulations!

Today, I did my whole gym routine without my buddy (a month ago I'd probably have skipped the whole thing) and for the first time did ALL of the crunches on the Schnell. I usually skip the last set. I even did the first 30 with a 10 lb plate! I am proud.

Also, I made an appointment for a fitness assessment for next week! It was offered free when I joined the gym and I declined, what with the calipers and all. I'm anxious to see what I can do for my body this year, though!
