What went wrong with my sweet potato?

I have some large sweet potatoes left over from Christmas, so I decided to baked it into "chips." I peeled it and then used my Pampered Chef slicer to cut it into thin chips. I sprayed a baking pan with Pam and arranged the chips, rhen baked on 350 for twenty minutes.
They don't taste bad, but they didn't get crispy at all! Now I am the first to admit that I am a terrible cook, but this sounded pretty fool-proof. Any suggestions for next time?
Thanks!

Awesome! I can do that! Of course now I want to cook up the other potato! Will try to wait for tomorrow! Thanks, friends!0

Lower the heat and bake for longer, try doing them on a rack instead of a tray so they are not sweating underneath0

Salt, pepper for flavor and maybe a bit of real oil. More heat and stir them around every ten minutes - sometimes they can get soggy.0

I agree with turning up the heat, and maybe bake on a pizza pan so the heat/air can come from all sides?0

Cook 'em longer0

Broil them. Turning up the heat is just going to burn them.
Try medium broil for 3 mins per side.0 -
