Are the servings on the labels of food correct? I mean if it says on a box of rice that 1 cup = a serving is that true or could I be eating larger portions that needed?

The serving size if for the rest of the information . . . eg. Calories, fat, carbs . . . If you notice some cereals will be 100 calories but different serving sizes. Like lets say Special K is 100 cal but only for 3/4 cup where Rice Krispies would be 100 cal for 1 cup. So whatever the size is for that serving is for that particular BRAND.
Hope this helps!0
