strength training suggestions?

So I am training for a half marathon May 6, and need to start adding strength training to my week. I don't have a gym membership, but want to know what's best kinds or routines of strength training to do? Dvd routines or no props routines... Let me know what's worked for you and what I should try! Feel free to check my diary and where I am at now too! Thanks in advance!
