strength training suggestions?

So I am training for a half marathon May 6, and need to start adding strength training to my week. I don't have a gym membership, but want to know what's best kinds or routines of strength training to do? Dvd routines or no props routines... Let me know what's worked for you and what I should try! Feel free to check my diary and where I am at now too! Thanks in advance!

Awesome that you are training for a half marathon. WIll this be your first? I trained for my 1st marathon in 2009 and used P90X for weight training with my running schedule. Here's what it looked like: http://bit.ly/MarathonTraining.

Yep, be my first half marathon, started running in september and am up to 10k now, start the Hal Higdon training in a week to be sure I can do the half in May! I will be checking out the p90x for sure, thanks!0
