Awesome grocery finds!!!!!!!!!

Been really weird but...Ive been craving freshly roasted turkey like no tomorrow... this doesnt happen very often but I am a firm believer that when you have a good craving like that, its time to act on it!

Hit the grocery store and WOW!!!!!!!!!! Freshly halved raw turkey, only .99/lb!!! I bought $20.00 worth - pretty much all they had in the case. Went and grabbed a whole turkey (frozen), for .59/lb!!!!!!!!!!!

Frozen bird is in the chest freezer, but them halved turkeys are gettng roasted tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Fresh dill (almost 2 cups worth), .79 cents per bunch
Curly parsley (almost 3 cups worth) .99 cents per bunch
Enoki (about 1 Cup) .99 cents per package!

Avocados .79 cents EACH!!!!

cant wait to get the kitchen going tonight!

    Isn't it awesome to find a great deal like that? I don't do turkey, but I love to stock up when I find my favorites marked down. Right now I'm noticing that the spice aisle has huge discounts, so I'll be hitting that this weekend to refill my supplies for the new year. :)

    Most of the grocery stores here where I am have a discounted rack for just about everything. So long as the dent is not found on the seal of a can, Ill grab all of the stewed tomatoes, tomato-puree/paste/sauce products as they are all fresh-packed cans with the white lining (no more metallic tomato flavor!) and Ill make plenty of marinaras, sauces, soup bases with them. Bought a HUGE supply of it today...dirt cheap!

    They sell bell peppers loose and by the bag... I just bought a bag of the king-sized red bell peppers for 1.89/lb!!!! The other stores want $2.99/lb! Uhhhhh, gee... which one wouldya go with? LOL!

    Ive got my turkey-halves in the oven right now.... and Im about to prep up my vegetables for the next few days... OHHHH I feel like its gonna be a long night of food-porn-cooking! LOL!

    great deals! I have three turkey's in my freezer right now. We had roast beef for Christmas but I love turkey and the deals this time of year cannot be beat ;)
