Calorie burn question

I use a heart rate monitor when I work out. it is a New Balance brand one that calculates the calories. I put in all my data( age, weight, etc). when logging in my workout tonight it said I had burned 421 calories for 26 minutes of working out. I noticed a friend of mine posted her workout and burned around the same amount of calories as me but worked out for 65 minutes.
Would I burn more calories because I am heavier that she is? Could my HRM be incorrect?

Yeah, I really think everyone's burn is different. The more you weigh, the more you burn for the same activity. The activity you are doing also matters. Walking around the block will burn less than a boot camp type workout, etc.0

I did half my time on the elliptical and half on the stationary bike. I hauled *kitten* on both! At one point the elliptical actually told me to slow down to reduce heart rate! lol
But thank you so much for answering. I was just confused and worried I might not be burning as much as I thought!0
