p90x starting on monday but curious of nutrition

ok my coach told me to download this app so i did. now my simple question is can i eat anything i want and still lose weight or how does this work? I am kinda confused

No you shouldnt eat everything you want. Ive done P90x and just finished Insanity today. Yes you will burn alot of calories, but its all about calories in vs. calories out. If you want to lean out with p90x create a calorie deficit. If you are already lean and want to bulk with p90x add a small caloric surplus and lift heavy 6-8reps to failure.
In my opinion, to get the most from a program you must educate yourself about nutrition. Id say its 70% nutrition 30% exercise. Did you read your nutrition guide?0 -
There is a whole nutrition guide that explains everything you need to know. It should have come with your DVD's.0

ya i read the guide i am level 2 and doing fat shredder my goal is about 2.100 calorie intake but my issue is i make a meal plan with the suggested food and i put it into my the myfitness plan thing on here and im either below protein or over and same with fat n cal intake ect... im so lost in making a meal......0

I love MFP but I'd follow what the P90X nutrition guide says. MFP has great basic guidelines for those without a nutritionist or nutrition guide. YOu are very lucky to have a plan tailored to the exercise you'll be doing. Good luck!0 -
