5 and a half pounds of food a day... not counting water thats actually a lot of food.0

I bet our great--great-grandparents ate more. Otherwise, where did they get the energy to spend their days farming or hunting? Maybe the problem is that we live sedentary lives with appetites never designed for being sedentary. This is my theory, but I'm biased. I hate diets and I hate being hungry!0 -
2700 calories/day is average. I was probably eating 3,000 before I started here.0
