New to mfp

Hi I am new to mfp this is my 3rd day, the Message board looks rather exciting with all the weight loss the different ones have. I have hidden my scales and just keeping track of what I am eating through this program. So hopefully with looking and seeing all your messages will keep me strong willed. Forgot to say bad health is my problem, diabetes, heart failure, c.o.p.d. I swim sometime not very strong but I like what I do. I care for my 91 year old mother in law which takes up a lot of time, but do you count that as exercise. Just had my 70th birthday , still not to late to try and lose the unwanted pounds.
