My new years goal has noting to do with fitness. My goal is to go from full time to part time and finally retire completely by year's end.
In a way that will effect my fitness as I'll have lots more time to do a variety of activities. I hope to continue my current routine and try yoga this year.0 -

Just curious - what are the 10 things from your "bucket list" that you want to check off this year?
well I have 100 things on there total...so a few that I wanna cross off are: to try 50 new recipes (I am on 23 right now), to donate blood (I have donated plasma several times but never blood), to reach my goal weight (I am 0.4lbs away), and to go kayaking!!! I'm not sure which other one's I will work towards this year...but I def have plenty to chose from!0 -

I think you're the first person I've talked to on here who is so close to their goal weight! Gosh, I bet that feels great! Congratulations!0 -
Walk/Run 2,012 miles in 2012...I also want to complete the couch to 5k program0

2. do more strength training 3xs a week consistantly
3. Go on a hot air balloon ride...( nothing to do with weight loss but i have always wanted to do this and dont think it would be wise to do it 100 lbs heavier.....

But we wn't fail becuase we are here supporting eachother.... It doesn't take one time committing to do it, it takes multiple committments each day0 -

True that! I make a commitment to it every time I go to cook a meal and every time I decide to consciously move my body more and get some exercise.
It really does help having this community/support system. The biggest mistake I made last year was taking a break from this site for a few months after I lost 76 lbs. I ended up gaining half the weight back that I lost. Needless to say I won't be doing that again. lol0 -

Wow, good for you for coming back! It's stories like that, that make me realize we need to support eachother and be accountable to ourselves. It is so easy to gain it back (I have lost the same weight atleast 4 times, and I won't ever again Good luck to you, I have faith 2012 will be a fantastic year!0 -
Eat better, binge less, run a 10K and a 1/2..and get to my Goal.0
-
This is my year to stand at the top of Mt. Marathon - which is pathetic since the racers can get to the top and back in an hour. I will also cut my hike time off Skyline Trail. Not setting any number goals, because I always fail them.0

My goals for 2012 are to workout more and on a more regular basis, and just continue losing this weight!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!0 -

Oy! Standing on the top of ANY mountain is Not pathetic. A lot of us can't do that (even the small mountains lol). Take pride in your accomplishments!0 -

Thanks, 2011 was a banner year for me that's when I lost all of my weight so far, it's been tougher as I get smaller but it will happen one way or the other. I also want to add either tighten up or get rid of the loose skin. If it was gone, I'd be below my goal weight and looking to gain muscle. We will see on that one.0 -
