New Year's Resolutions

OKAY. New Year's resolutions, people.

Mine are:
1. Drink less
2. be healthier
3. think more about others
4. care less about what other people think of me
5. volunteer more

    1)I will try eat no more than 1700 a day (1200 minimum, 1500 preferred)
    2)workout EVERYDAY for at LEAST 45 minutes a day burning at minimum 454 calories a day
    3)To drink six glasses of water each day at least
    4)one 20 oz pop a week... (I've already failed this one..haha but they are diet..still trying to break the habit)
    5)IF we eat out I will get a salad or one of the healthy options
    6)No more desserts, least they be healthy
    7)aim to lose 2 pounds a week
    8)try to amp up self esteem

    my new years resolutions...

    "fire" toxic people. I don't need drama or negativity in my life anymore. So I will end the year drama free.
    go back to my "church" (its actually a spiritual center)
    Make at least 3 healthy choices a day to help me adopt a new healthier lifestyle
    watch less TV
    and...
    complete 5 things on my bucket list!!!! (seeing Social Distortion is on the list, and last night my friend gifted me 2 tickets for feb 2nd:) woot! So that's one!!! :)

    ahhh yes, the "eating out" thing... I am gonna steal that, and amping self esteem as well:)

    1. To be more conscious of the food I am eating. Eat cleaner and try to do organic where I can.
    2. Do weight training 3 x per week....without fail!!!
    3. Do cross trainer 3 x per week (cut down from 5-6)
    4. Take my pooch on longer walkies each day!
    5. Stop letting people force bad food on me!
    6. Spend more time with family (difficult when I'm on another continent, but even if it's on the phone, rather than just emails and facebook messages)
    7. Make more quality time with my husband!
    8. Get my creative hat back on....and pick my camera up more often...getting lazy with my photography recently

    Looking forward to this coming year. Want to get back to losing 1lb per week - healthy, consistent and not outwith my grasp!
  • My Year's Resolutions are to:

    1. Eat healthier (more fruits/veggies/milk--less fried foods and red meat)
    2. If I overeat at one meal, to start back eating healthy at next meal
    3. Cut down on diet coke
    4. Do some type of exercise everyday
    5. Cook healthier meals

  • My NYR is to try new things, go out there, stop letting my fears hold me back.
  • 1. Stop lazying around and try to at least go for a walk on days I can't get to the gym
    2. Start being less hard on myself...I'm pretty uptight for a 20 year old
    3. Get myself outta debt (haha it's not too bad)
    4. Forget about the boy who dumped me for an ugly string bean >:( and then finally get my revenge on
    him when I look wonderful and I don't pay attention to him :)
    5. Be open to new and totally different things! :)

    I like this one, I wish I could do that but I don't think I have control over it!

    Mine are:
    1. Eat some fruit instead of just loads of veg
    2. Take a bit more control over our money month to month (we haven't really been tracking it for a while - we've been making more than ever but saving less than ever)
    3. Volunteer somewhere in the community
    4. Re-start my French lessons (and try to resist stopping when they get hard!)

    That should be plenty to work on I think :)
  • My New Year's Resolutions:

    1. Quit drinking
    2. Eliminate desserts, except for ice pops and Italian ices (limit 1 per week)
    3. Try to do without dressing on my salad, except for Salad Spritzers or Walden Farms
    4. Buy things in more single serving packages so it's harder to overeat
    5. Order more salads and soups at restaurants instead of full meals
    6. Limit soda to seltzer with lemon if I'm sick but otherwise have water, coffee, or tea
    7. Drink only one caffeinated beverage per day, before noon, and ELIMINATE ALL energy drinks
    8. Do cardio interval training every day; Additional weight training 3-4x per week
    9. Walk more: Step on stair stepper during TV commercials, get the mail the long way, use the farthest bathroom from my bedroom, park in a far lot at the grocery store and walk the carriage all the way back after shopping, etc.
    10. Don't say "no" or "my back hurts" when my folks ask me if I want to go for a walk or hike or help with yard work, like raking leaves, picking up sticks, or shoveling snow, esp. off my own car!
    11. Volunteer more, and look for more temp jobs
    12. Finish my online Medical Coding classes and register at a Community College for Classes by Spring or Fall 2013
    13. Write impeccably neat, and keep my room neat all the time
    14 Be more patient with annoying, and/or pedantic people like my mom or my best friend, and not get annoyed when my boyfriend blows up my phone constantly…
    15 Go to church more and pray every night, read the Bible and memorize the Lord's Prayer in Greek
    16 Carve out time each week for my crafts, esp. the photography, beading and drawing.
    17. Work on my writing, esp. the poetry. Find my muse…

    idk. there are a lot of things here id like to accomplish in 2012. seems ambitious, but if anyone has any suggestions on how to streamline my goals plz. let me know!

  • 1. Workout at least 4 days a week for 30-60 minutes.
    2. Lose 10 more pounds.
    3. Keep it off!
    4. Start looking for a boyfriend.
    5. Have better control over my money. Start saving!

    That's all I have so far. Probably think of more later.
  • The year is slowly coming to an end and I have failed at all of these! Gotta get myself back on track.
