Hi All,

I posted in the general thread but perhaps this one is more appropriate.

I have been using myfitnesspal on and off for a year now so a few of you might have seen me around.

As it's the first day of the year i am start a new blog called 20SIZE12 over at blogger (20SIZE12.blogspot.com). The goal is to get into a pair of size 12 jeans by the end of 2012. :)

If you would like to join the journey I also set up an fb group for a few old diet friends from Calorie King Australia... but anyone is free to join. There is also twitter if you are that way inclined.

Hope to see you all around and we are encouraging everyone to track their days on this site so there will be a lot of overlap.

Coco.

Aussie clothes are a slightly different shape (I find anyway) but it's close to a UK 12.

Well it doesn't matter which size12 because it's a personal goal. So someone in the US might want to be a size 12 and someone in the UK might have a different size 12. Aussie size 12 is somewhere in between.

For me... It's an Australian Size 12 because odd shaped or not... Aussie clothes fit me better. I am currently in Jakarta so the only clothes that really fit me are Marks and Spencer which are UK sizes.

Oh dear, I didn't mean it to be offensive. I'm from Australia. I wasn't saying they were 'odd shaped' just different shaped. I actually don't think that an Australian 12 is much different in SIZE to a UK 12 but I tend to fit better in Australia clothes because I have hips and British clothes are quite up and down. So for me, that means my top half in UK in 3 sizes smaller than bottom where as in Australia it is 1 different at most. If anything, I consider UK clothes 'odd shaped' but I'm sure that's only because it is not what I am used to.

Yeah I agree... I guess I have Australian shape. :) Being an Aussie that is understandable.

I find the Marks & Spencer clothes... even in a bigger size... just never quite fit right. Strange I know.

They probably all come out of the same factory somewhere in Asia.
