Anyone else on this Med?

Hello MFP friends!
My doctor gave me a new medication to take along with my regular anti depressant.
The name on the packet is Seroquel XR 50mg.
I read up on it a little and it's used for Bipolar and schizophrenia. I do not have schizophrenia but my doctor does think I am mildly bipolar. I don't have sharp highs and lows, but I do have gradual ones. Anywho.....
I was wondering if anyone else out there who feels comfortable telling me, if they have had any success on it, or what side effects may I expect.

    I would not look up side effects! Everyone is different and you will just freak yourself out! Remember that medications may be for a specific purpose but used for many different things! I take an anti-depressant for a sleeping pill (prescribed by my psychiatrist). Give yourself a week or so to get used to it, some take longer. If you are really concerned, talk to your doctor about possible side effects (which usually wear off!). Good luck!
