anyone have any ideas what would be the best scales to use to weight yourself? The one I have is a "Biggest Loser" scale it weighs me but only when it wants to so It sometimes does not always work. I need one that would weight me correctly with as big as I am some wont show because it only goes to a certain weight! Any ideas?!?!

I went thru a few myself locally but after one that went "error" when my dog was standing on it on a 20 lb box, I gave up and spent a few extra dollars. Went to amazon and found one that went higher than I needed.
I feel your pain as when I started my drs office scale didn't go the last 10 pounds. It did kick start my rear into getting serious.
Scales are a funny thing. Some work well forever, some only work up to like half its listed size.. Just gotta get them and return them if they don't work, or are faulty. If they were made by a quality company that wanted to make something that worked well up to how high they wanted to be accurate, then it wouldn't be as well known that they all can be off. Pick one, and use that one. Maybe once in a while double check with another one from the gym or the drs office as a sanity check, but keep to that one for progress.
Don't stress over it as the product isn't doing its job and isn't able to be used by you. And above all, don't weigh yourself too much cause it can get a bit obsessive and your body fluctuates a lot over the day or week.0 -
I use a scale made by weight watchers and it is brilliant - really accurate!

i got one of those body fat scales and when I was 12st 7 it always weighed me as lighter and now I've lost 32lbs its weighing me as heavier!.. total waste of money and the bathroom scales I got them to replace have been more consistent even though they tend to fluctuate a lot the range I get is smaller eg now getting between 10st 2 and 10st 8 when at first would get 12st 7 to 12st 13.
weighing usually ends up taking a good 15 mins to step on and off about 6 times to see which number I get the most! .. i weigh daily and the number i get most at end of week is the one I take as my weight.
my balance board used to be more consistent but since thats started turning itself off and on i can be same as bathroom scales on one game and 6lbs heavier on another!
all scales give you a different weight anyway so it's hard to know exactly what you weigh, but I'm aiming for getting numbers in the 9 stone range on mine!
Do you have a link to the weightwatchers scale?0 -
