Summer heat and no shorts

I refuse to wear shorts this year. My legs are so huge and full of cellulite. I have been walking about 1 mile a day and for now that is all I can handle. I shaved my legs today to wear my capris and noticed the right leg on the right side at the lower thigh is quite bigger then my left leg. Is that unusual? It is like an awning hanging over my knee. I am so ashamed and embarrassed by it I will not wear shorts this year. I just want it to go away. How about any women out there with this problem? Have you lost and it went away or will it stay. Help I need some positive reinforcement at this time.

I have no advice - just empathy.
My thighs are huge & I haven't been wearing shorts out of the house for years.
But since I started seriously here, the skin on my thighs is getting droopy, & I have that overhang, too. I was hoping a lot of biking would help. But the cellulite & wrinkly skin are beginning to make me look like that Saggy Baggy Elephant my kids used to read! :noway:
Hubby today called it "definition." :laugh:0 -
I also have that problem I call it my second knee. There is an exercise that will help that. You lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat, open your legs until you feel that pull on the inside of your thighs and then close again. You do as many of those as you can increasing the amount every week. It works. Also every morning before I get out of bed I do leg raises or at night when I go to bed. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!0

Looks as if I am starting at the same weight. I am just hoping it goes away, I just recently noticed it. I think it is because I recently gained 20 lbs. after losing it. I guess just give it time and see. Thanks for the advice.0

:flowerforyou: Girl, I feel your pain and I live in s fla! I;m pretty fair skinned so I feel sime spray tan really hides or lessens the harsh reality of cellulite and knee fat (b-crap, who would've thought what other people have knobby versions of could remain fat:noway: ) and there is a nice style short that is almost on or just past the knee. Keep at your walking and try to up your mileage:drinker:0
