Cooking with Oils

When you cook with an oil, whether it be EEOV, coconut, etc., how do you count those calories? Do you add the entire amount of calories that you cooked with? For example, today I made some popcorn with a TBSP of coconut oil, and I counted half the calories of the oil because I ate half the popcorn I made. Should I be doing it differently? Is there a "method" to it?
