Noodles

Hello, everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not rice noodles have greater nutritional value versus egg noodles? I tried to compare on the MFP database and I got mixed results (brands varying, of course). I'm going to a Vietnamese noodle restaurant tomorrow and want to make healthy choices. I'm looking at their menu online right now, trying to make a decision on what to order. So, egg or rice noodles?

Egg noodles have more calories, is that what you mean?0

I would just look up different dishes and then decide from there.0

Basically, thank you. There are noodles in literally every dish on their menu, so I'm just trying to choose the "right" kind.0

Egg noodles will likely contain more calories and nutrients than rice noodles...0

I would say that egg noodles are healthier. My husband is Taiwanese (I'm white) and just from knowing how he eats, the rice noodles are normally fried at one point or another and sometimes are fried twice. I haven't seen them fry the egg noodles for anything.0
