Hello,

I walk for about 15 mins each way to and from the bus stop to go to work and come home, and usually at a brisk pace in the morning as often late! :blushing: Shall I include this in my exercise diary? Thinking about it, it tallies up to a lot of exercise mins per week, but as I do this every day I've never really considered it as 'exercise'! What do you think?

it probably depends what you have your settings as. if you put sedentary, then count it. If it is a new addition to your daily routine, count it. If you took that into consideration when setting up your account, dont count it.

I think I put sedentary as I work in an office all day. I think I'll include it as I do walk quite quickly - especially today in the wind and rain!!

I think Amy is right. I choose sendentary as you did since I work in an office. I count just about everything.

I tend to go with the theory if it's something I do as part of my everyday routine, don't count it. Otherwise you're just looking for an excuse to eat more. In the end you'll benefit more from the extra calories you're burning from that walk

I walk the dog around 3 miles a day. Since i do this every day and have for a year (without losing weight) i don't count it. if i take her on an "extra" walk or hike i do count it.

OK...on second thoughts perhaps I shouldn't count it, as I do it every day and have done for the past year. Thanks people!
