hi there
I started on mfp properly at the start of Oct 2011 and my first goal was to lose 28 lbs by the end of the year. Im happy to say that I lost 29 lbs by the end of year, so I am super proud of myself and now looking forward to the next goal, which is to lose 42 lbs by end of June 2012. So please wish me luck!!! I think Im going to need it.
Also, if anyone is doubting themselves, if I can do (the laziest person in the world):blushing:  , then anyone can, and its so true, you actually get to enjoy the workouts.
The best of luck to everyone here on mfp.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
Thanks

Well done!
It's a great feeling when you hit your goal, especially when it's earlier than you anticipated - I had a goal of losing 1lb a week last year and I achieved that in mid November!
We are fantastically dedicated people on this site, and we kick butt!!!!!
Look forward to seeing your next progress topic!0 -

hi all
here is the next update, as of this morning I have so far lost a total of 45.8 lbs, I really cant believe it, I never thought I could, so anyone out there, who is doubting themselves or is thinking that it is impossible, just believe in yourself and anything and I mean anything, is possible!!!
the very best to you all, remember the first step is the hardest, but once you take that first step, your path can lead you anywhere you want to go!!
so happy travels to us all.

Thanks Tracey
My original hope was to lose 75.6 lbs in total, but everyone is telling me that I would be looking sick by that stage, so I am going to aim for 56lbs and see how I feel from there, so only 10lbs to go and hopefully I will be happy with that and then at least I have some room to improve if necessary.
I started out with 1450 cals a day, walking and aerobics for 30 mins three times a week and dancing for 90 mins, then when after Christmas, I changed it to 1350 cals a day and the walking and aerobics for 60 mins twice a week and dancing for 90 mins.
I now wog (walking and jogging) for about 60 mins twice a week, aerobics for 60 mins once a week and dancing 90 mins once a week on 1350 cals, but I rarely go over my cals, I have only ever been over 3 times, and when I have a treat day which is Thurs, I count the cals and stay under (so its not really a treat day) but I trick myself in to believing that it is!!
The tricks to it all, is planning your food, which I know I am very lucky that I am able to do that, portion control weighing food out, it is so surprising when you put a scoop of something on your plate thinking that it is only a small portion till you actually weigh it. I allow myself a treat every now and then but just count it, drinking plenty of water to flush everything out, find an excercise that you really enjoy, I do dancing every week and we spend so much time laughing during it, that you dont notice how hard you are working.
The very best of luck to us all!!0
