Too much protein??

I always seem to go over on my allotted protein. I know that protein helps to build muscle, but will it negatively effect my weight loss?

    I changed mine from what mfp had my goals for carbs and protein because they had me way to high on carbs and really low on protein. From my experience as long as you eat the right kind of protein that is what helps me lose my weight.
