So I went to bed last night feeling really good about my weight loss. I did a great job eating healthy (although I didn't track), and did a small amount of exercise. PLUS, I thought I looked smaller....
Well I woke up and weighed myself......up over 5 pounds overnight!!!
I'm hoping its just all the water I drank last night

I seriously doubt (no, really, you didn't) you really gained 5 pounds overnight. Give it a day or two and check again. And keep drinking your water! It's good for you and will flush out any extra sodium.0

Obviously it's not fat. 3500 calories per pound x 5 pounds = impossible for you to eat that much in one day.0

Did you consume a lot of sodium yesterday? Or is your period due soon? Five pounds in one day is all but guaranteed to be water weight!0

I'm guessing a combo of sodium, water weight and possible the need to (probably soon) *ahem* eliminate excess (poop)!!! haha I said it!!!
Don't freak....it's what I refer to as a "fake" gain!!!0 -
Ok, I am under a Dr's care for weight lss. He told me to weigh NO more than ONCE a week!! Wearing the same thing (I prefer nekked, in the bathroom) on the same day. Also, more accurate weight is done in the morning before coffee or anything. I used to weigh every day thinking I would "catch" myself if I started to slip.
I fluctuated by as much as 8 lbs a day!! NO JOKE!! Honey, be easier on yourself!! TRACK every tiny bite on here (to stay accountable) which I took a break over the holidays....and even though I cheated I STILL lost weight!! BUT, my point is, stay on track, drink your water, and don't weigh every day!! It just sets yourself up for being bummed!! And after all, you're too good for that right???!!! ((HUGS))0
