Hi everyone! I'm Trish, I'm 25 years old and have a lot of work to do to fulfill my goal of living a healthy lifestyle. I was doing really well with MFP but dipped in my motivation, but now I'm BACK and ready to get at this! Was hoping to add some more friends, since I've heard and read that going alone can sometimes set you up for failure. So -- add me! would love to hear from everyone and find out your stories and share my own. Thanks, and have a great day!

I have been on and off with MFP for the past 2 years. I am doing a biggest loser contest for the next 6 weeks to jump start me getting back into shape I would love for us to help each other along.
  • Hello ;-) Welcome back. One big thing that really helps me is to have my food log open for friends to view. It keeps me in check with what im eating and allows my friends to see what im eating. Have found a lot of people like to see you have it open, shows that you are here to try to change but its 100% up to you. I really enjoy logging. Its not for everyone. Best of luck

^This! I leave my diary open, as well. Not offended if someone makes suggestions on things I may need to change.

Hi I just joined MFP in December 2011. I think logging my food intake on MFP has really helped me because I can actually see how many calories I am eating. I would like to lose 32 pounds and weigh 130 pounds. In 2007 I weighed 187 pounds, had a gym membership, worked out 5-6 days a week, had a personal trainer, counted my calories and lost 32 pounds to weigh 155. I then became pregnant and after my child was born, the weight slowly came off. I worked really hard to watch my food intake and in the summer of 2010 I was my lowest weight ever 130 pounds and size 8 jeans. I then fell off the wagon and started MFP at 162 pounds. Anyone is welcome to add me :)
