So is anybody doing any crazy crash diets this month?

I was wondering if anybody was starting this year out with a specific diet plan or if anybody knows anything that has been successful. I've been coasting and maintaining for the past few months and I could really use something to jump start my weight loss!!

I wouldn't call it a crazy crash diet, because I am tracking my calories, etc on MFP, but I am doing protein shakes for breakfast & lunch for 2 weeks ( fruits/veggies for snacks) and then a regular dinner. I just wanted something to sort of energize me and get me motivated to lose weight, strange but this is working for me. It's helping me focus less on food.0

This is extremely bad advice. Stay away from starvation diets.0 -

You're right koosdel, of course, but OP did ask about. "Crazy crash diets". That's why I didn't answer with what I'm doing.0 -
I am going to California Pizza Kitchen every day, bringing it home, spraying it with windex and putting it in the trash. That way I can trick my wallet and brain into thinking I had pizza but never eating it. But if someone invites me out to Taco Bell I will eat one of everything on the menu...because they're paying, especially if it's my mother....

I am trying an eat stopeat plan, which is not a diet as such but you have a main evening meal at say 6pm and then do not eat again until the following time the next day. You can drink all the water and black coffee you want and I do it on a day when I am sat down allday so no worries of crashing out. It will not suit some people, but for me it kicks my fat burners into shape. I do this for one day a week and manage my calorie intake the remainder concentrating on greater protein and fat intake and lesser fast carbs.0

I'm doing a low calories diet of my own before I move on to a more long term healthy eating plan. Which is the Ryvita diet, basically its like this-
Breakfast - Piece of fruit
Dinner - x2 Ryvitas with ANY topping (fish, chicken, salad etc) as long as its healthy
Followed by a low fat yoghurt
Tea- Exactly the same
I try not to eat past 6pm or snackthrough the day but if I really need to its a piece of fruit.
I find its pretty good for portion control for me atm and at least you get to choose whichever topping you want.0
