'other' calories burned

I've noticed several times that friends will post calories burned doing daily things like, say, grocery shopping, household chores, etc. you are obviously active and burning calories ... but am I in the minority for not logging those calories burned? I just normally plug in those that I burn at the gym. should I start adding chore burns?

I don't, I'm up on my feet most days at work but I never log that.
If i work to and from work i'll log it because its like a 1.5 mile walk and I walk at quite a fast pace but i wouldn't log something like shopping or walking to the corner shop for example.0 -
It's a personal choice, and related to your activity settings.
If you are set as "sedentary" and those activities are outside what you normally do, then you might choose to add them.
If your activity settings are lightly active or higher then you have probably already accounted for that kind of stuff.0 -
Honesty, I don't consider everyday activities as exercise. Exercise is a conscious physical and emotional effort, in my opinion.0

If your constipated and you have been sitting for a long while pushing shouldnt that count as ab/core exercises and burning those extra calories too?
Nah but seriously I think anything extra over what you put in your daily activity level should be logged.0 -
I only log food prep and cleaning if I do at least 1.5 hours straight... then I'll log for only half that time to account for overestimates on MFP. So If I do 1 hour of cleaning, I'll log 30 minutes of light cleaning. Most of the time it only happens on weekends when we run around the house cleaning and cooking... my weekly food preps on sundays sometimes takes me 2 or more hours so I'll log that. Sometimes between that, cleaning and shopping we're too tired for an intense workout so logging daily activites balances things out.0

I don't log anything that is not a TRUE workout. I did house work before and none of it helped me to lose weight.0
