Calling Runners in UK & Germany!

OK, this is a long shot, but I'm going to be in Germany (Cologne Area) and the UK (Dunton Area) on January 28th and 29th respectively. I would love to run a 5k while I was there, what a blast that would be! However I have no idea what resources, websites, contacts, etc. to sign up for a short race ... any tips??

    Check out "Park Run" http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ and see where the closest run would be, you do need to register with them to get a bar code but it's free.

    ooops duplicate post, Sorry...

    But I will add that Park Run's are 5K and take part in Park's across the UK (infact the globe) every weekend so there will be one somewhere that you could join in with. They are non competitive, it just you against the clock so it might not be the sort of thing you are looking for but its all free, just register, turn up and run.
