do you swing your hands when you walk? This happens to me too if I don't move my arms...I end up walking with my hands up by my shoulders. I don't know if it's a sign of something though.0

I'm interested in the responses...
this has always happened to me - heavy or thin, young or old - and I drink PLENTY of water... I just chalked it up to the way that I am. My hands feel as if the knuckles would split if I made a fist. And it goes away as soon as I recover from the walk.0 -
this is normal.. its the increased blood flow.0

The blood isn't circulating back to the heart fast enough, nothing to worry about. you can carry a walking stick or something in your hand to play with to increase circulation.0

I walked the same yesterday and it didnt happen, so I wonder what the difference was.0

Hold your hands up at heart level. When you walk and swing your arms, all your blood flows to your fingers.0

The same thing happens to me... I blame it on my salt sensitivity, but I don't know if this is accurate.0

Happens to me all the time.....sometimes I hold my hands up or jus try and keep them moving. Its normal.0

It is the blood flow directly to your hands, if you swing your arms while you are walking and hold at waist level this won't happen. If you don't like to swing your arms then every once in a while stretch your arms out to the sides do some arm cirlces while you are walking this should help.0

It happens to me alot... esp when I've had alot of salt/sodium in the meal or day before my exercise. Usually goes away in 30 or so minutes.0

This happens to me too when I don't swing my arms while walking. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but it is irritating!!:ohwell:0

I have poor circulation and find discomfort in my hands when I just let them hang to my sides while walking. Try periodically bending your elbows and lifting them to shoulder height (as if you're doing bicep curls) and then shaking them out and flexing them and balling them periodically to keep the blood flow going.0

Same thing happens to me. I find that I have to remove my rings before I exercise or I won't be able to get them off when I'm done.0
