Relaxation techniques!

i feel like a great deal of our eating difficulties, or at least in my case, comes from stress and an inability to actually relax! what are some things that you do to relax? i would love to find something that could actually work for me--i am chronically stressed!!

Hey Becky,
I also have difficultiy relaxing with my stressful life. When relating to eating before I quickly binge.. I take a step back, breath and think about how I will feel after I eat food (especially if its unhealthy) Then I evaluate if I am eating because I am truly hungry or if I am emotionally eating and no matter how much I eat, I will never feel full or satisfied.
In relation to just relaxing.. I started to do yoga. It really works if you are in a quiet enviornment. This way you can focus on your breathing and take a time out from the days stresses. I hope this helps.0
