Must haves on YOUR grocery list.

I plan on food shopping this weekend, and was making my list while i had free time today at work. Food shopping is a big deal for me, i'm really strange about food. I have to stay away from certain sections in the store, so i like to plan out EXACTLY what i need ahead of time so i stay on task and dont end up wondering about the ilse and staring at the nutritional value of every thing in the store.
Well anyways. What's a must have on your grocery list, and why?
Here's my list so far:
Meats
Chicken Breast, Ground Turkey, Raw Shrimp, Albacore tuna, Salmon/Mahi Mahi, Deli meats.
Produce
***Whatever is on sale or in season. I usually shop at the farmers market.***
Dairy
Greek Yogurt, Soft Swiss Wedges, Almond/Soy Milk, Eggs.
Carb fix
Multi Grain/ Rye Bread, Fresh Pasta, Non-Fat Granola, Cereal, Oatmeal.
General
Peanut/Almond Butter, Pistachio, Granola Bar.

I recently added egg whites too. P90x said to do it. lol I now have a 3 egg white, green pepper and mushroom scramble before i leave the house in the morning. It adds almost 20 grams of protein to my diet, is super yummy and only about 100 calories! i would beware of the dried fruits. They can have a ton of added sugar0

Also never without my David's Tea!
P.S. I buy my meats from the local butcher shop and we also have excellent local honey, but I don't use honey often enough for it to be essential.0 -

fat free milk, eggs, cheese, whole wheat bread, chicken and turkey in bulk, occassionally steak and pork for the man, frozen broccoli, ect. Apples are a MUST. Sometimes bananas, different types of nuts, ect. I tend to get bored with my snacks and if I do, I'll neglect them and they go bad >_<
So I have to plan whatever kind of snack I have been craving.0 -
I don't eat meat, so I always need a lot of fish to get up my protein levels.
I've always just stuck with 'safe options' like tuna and salmon, but one on my new years resolutions is to try more things!
I had some sea bass the other day, which was amazing, so basically I trying to have one fish per week I haven't tried before:')
I eat a lot of salad and veggies, absolutely love celery, beetroot and pomegranates.
Sweet potatoes:')
Love eggs too, and they're so good for you!
So, my must haves!:)xo0 -

since when are boiled eggs only 17 calories?? Am I missing something here? I thought one egg was 70 calories?0
-
I would eliminate the deli meat. It's extremely high in sodium plus other unhealthy additives. Avoid all lunch and deli meats at all costs. Also consider trying Almond Milk. It has zero sugars and is very healthy (get the original). Also on my own must-have list is organic low or no fat sour cream and cottage cheese. I also buy 80 percent dark chocolate and mix one small piece in my morning shake. It's very good for the heart and blood pressure.0
