Can a tight HRM hinder breathing?

So I cut my run super short today @ 3.6 miles BC my lungs just felt like Thespis weren't pumping enough air. I tightened my strap a bit snugly yesterday and ran 4.2 miles on my speed run..... today it just felt like my lungs were weak even wiplth the same adjustments to the strap as yesterday..... what's weird is that my HR was normal but I just felt like stoppiplng...... could it be the strap or am I just fatiguing out? I ran a 5.1 and 9 miler this week with a day rest after so 3.6 miles is pathetic.

I would think it would make it a little difficult breathing. I remember when I got married my wedding dress making it a little difficult to breath so why wouldn't the strap. Also was it you that was just running with a cold? That might be part of it too.0
