the smell of bacon cooking in their home, but absolutely LOVE the taste of it?

I love bacon, but the smell of it in my house reminds me yucky-ness. (Can't come up with a better adjective this early in the morning)

Just wondered if anyone else had that.

I am actually becoming the opposite............

I love the smell of bacon, but can not stomach to eat store bought bacon any longer.

I am waiting for my local farmer to do another slaughter for some real, uncured bacon.

I thought you were going to say 'incomplete subject lines.' ;) I only hate the smell of bacon after I've eaten it. Something magical changes and it smells awful.

An easy way to replace a pungent odor in your household is to put a dollop of creamy peanut butter on a non-stick pan. Leave at low heat and your place will smell like peanut butter cookies.

I don't cook bacon in the house for that reason. However, I've found that if you make it in the oven, the smell isn't nearly as strong and with some open windows it clears our fairly quickly.

^ You must be my olfactory twin! Ditto brussels sprouts, cauliflower.

To the OP - I've heard that a lot about people liking the smell of coffee, but not liking the taste.
For me the smell of bacon is the harbinger of deeeeliciousness!
Maybe you can get that pre-crisped bacon that your re-heat in the microwave. You can try opening the door quickly, taking out the bacon, putting the box of baking soda in there, and slamming the door shut as quickly as possible.
