do you want to just gain weight or gain muscle mass?0

My 15 year old son is 6'1" and 140, and currently doing a weight training class at school. Trying to keep weight on him is my goal this semester. So far, I'm using the lots of calories approach. Fruit, nuts, French Toast, peanut butter, eggs, bacon, larger portions than I eat, etc. I'd love to see suggestions as well.0

Healthy foods like avocados, peanut butter, nuts, etc. Are you working out at a gym now? If so, ask them. A lot of the guys that work-out use certain protein shakes that help them gain healthy weight (i.e. muscle). I know nothing about that since I am trying to lose it. Too bad we can't all just switch it up - Good luck!!0

i had a friend with this problem ... he drank a lot of whole milk, put olive oil on everything, and ate frequently throughout the day. he was on a lifting program "scrawny to brawny" that laid out workouts and eating plans ... it worked and he looks awesome now0

In addiction to whole grains and vegetables, eat plenty of lean protein and vegetable fats and lift weights.0
