im getting ready to buy a polar heart rate monitor for women but before i do i need to know the size of the chest strap. i looked on thier website and it does not say. is it one size fits all or does it only extend so far. thanks

    It does give a choice of sizes and I bought the medium standard. We have about the same amount of weight to lose. I hope this helps. :smile:

    It's adjustable. Get the medium...you'll be fine. I have the medium and I've had to make it smaller since I've had it. :smile:

    WOW! When I bought mine quite a few years ago at Sports Authority, I don't think there was a size for the strap, BUT, I have gotten alot bigger since then and it still fits me (now that I'm finally using it!) so I'm sure you will work out just fine too and I seem to have a big rib cage prior to weight gain and still fine. Good luck - you will love it and it will push you farther. Mine is so old that it doesn't count calories but I have a calculator online to figure it out for me!
