How much to eat?

Been following MFP's recommendations for a while now (7 months) and have lost about 85lbs. Just looking to compare with people of a similar size/activity level how much I should eat.
Doing the Harris Benedict formula I come up with a BMI of about 2403 (188cm tall, 255 lbs, 28 years old). I was not sure about what to put as my activity multiplier. I do p90X 5 nights per week but I have a desk job. I don't know what P90X falls under in terms of intensity, for me it is very intense so I use 1.55 as my activity multiplier, this gives me a suggested daily total of 3724 calories just to maintain my weight. If I take of 500 cals to lose 1lb per week that comes to 3224 cals per day.
MFP is recommending my net calories come to 2208 per day. With my HRM I usually come in at around 800-900 calories burned per P90X workout. So if I ate back all the exercise calories, which I don't usually. I would come in around 3000 total calories consumed per day. Eating that much scares me, as I've been kind of tuned to eating less.
I will play with the number and evaluate my results. I'm just looking for people of a similar size and activity level to compare with. How much do you eat?

I am doing X2 and have done p90x and eating enough calories is critical to the success. I eat 2800-3000 calories a day and I am 205lb and 15% body fat. If you plateaued, bump your calories up to 3000 and then 3200 and that should help. I did p90x at 1800 calories for an entire round and lost nothing. After that, I jumped it to 2600 doing chalean extreme (not as intense) and lost 3% body fat and 5 lbs. Now I am doing X2, I bumped it up again to 2850 and it has been working for me. Also, I found when I am between 1.55 and 1.725, it worked out for me.0
