clean alternative to cream soups??

I love tuna casserole or casseroles in general but they all call for cream soups. These are always loaded with chemicals. Is there a cleaner alternative out there? It doesn't have to be low fat but I would like it whole and natural.

You can just use milk in a casserole like that. Here's an example recipe...

I would like to know too. but kind of guessing you would use milk and other ingredients to make your own cream like sauce.0 -
You can make your "cream of ____" soup from scratch. For example here is a link to one that I used recently. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/home-made-cream-of-chicken-soup/
I subbed a few of the ingredients (I used organic butter instead of canola oil and potato starch instead of flour).

You can make your own, homemade cream of whatever soups. That way you know exactly what you're getting.

Scroll about halfway down to get to the actual recipes. I haven't tried them yet, but they look pretty good to me.0 -
