What is a good weight for a 6'5 man?

When looking at the BMI scale it says I should weigh in the range of 187 - 229 lbs - my goal is currently 225. A friend of mine told me 225 might be too low for my broad frame. I am currently 249, my starting weight was 260 - I like the athletic slim look.
Just wondering if anyone had an opinion on this.

Really depends on how much muscle you gain. I am currently 6'4 and 197 lbs. I would like to gain up to 210-215 lbs though to fill out my frame.0

i would prefer BMI over my friend's word.
secondly better to invest some time and consult a nutritionist professional. He will guide you in expert way.0
