Hotel Room workouts

I travel a TON for work and sometimes my hotels don't have gyms or gyms are closed with the hours I keep. I chaperone students so I can't leave the hotel (I go for a walk/run if the weather allows and I have a second chaperone).

I would love suggestions on what I can do for activity early in the morning or late at night in my hotel room. I just bought 30-day shred for my iPad which I am going to attempt (I wanted to buy it anyways) but sometimes the space in the rooms are small.

(I have also gotten locked in a stairwell so running stairs is not high on my to-do list)

I feel like I am making excuses. I just wanted to get all constraints I can think of out of the way before I posted so I didn't sound like I was coming back with excuses.

So given the constraints, please hit me with all recommendations. I will try them all in the coming month with 17 or so days on the road!

I jog in place while watching tv when I am in a hotel room - no space required :-) Jumping jacks or jumping rope would work too if you have room.

Push-ups as previously suggested works. Pack a resistance band and you can always do some light lifting.

Here's a killer hotel room (or home) workout I enjoy:

    50 jumping jacks
    50 mountain climbers
    20 push ups
    60 sec. wall squat
    30 bodyweight squats
30 lunges (15 on both sides)
20 tricep dips (you'll need a chair or the edge of the bed)
    60 sec. plank
    30 bicycle sit ups
    30 reverse crunches

Repeat 4 times. Then pass out.
