  • I have a shake everyday. Packed with nutrients and protein, it's a Great way to start the day. Some good protein powder, green powder, and fruit make a nice base. David Wolfe has a great website with some yummy recipes.

I dont like traditional breakfast food to be honest... I do though, love a good chicken fajita in the morning..... a homemade chile relleno stuffed with chicken and cheeses, with an egg-over easy on top....

you can have anything for breakfast... it doesnt have to be oatmeal, or pancakes, or eggs, or anything like that...

I always have Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal with rice milk!
  • my breakfast:

8 oz chocolate covered strawberry rounds
0.75 cup cooked steel cut oatmeal with 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
4 scoops unflavored whey isoalte + 1 scoop truetein chocolate peanut butter mixed protein + 2 cups strawberries + 2 cups fatfree milk blended to a big 1 Liter smoothie
1.8 cup cottage cheese(depending on the day low/high fat)
    1/4 cup of pistachios

about 1500-1700 calories depending on the cottage cheese :)

well atleast thats breakfast for me, and make sure you always have it post-workout
  • I usually don't like a heavy breakfast, so I love starting my day off with Greek yogurt and/or a piece of fruit
  • a healthy breakfast can be anything actually, as long as you meet the net calories you set for yourself. Your body can't tell the difference between "healthy" and "unhealthy", it just sees all foods as a source of energy. Sometimes I even go for a donut as long as i know its nutritional contents, and can fit it into my daily calorie bill.

Just make sure whatever you eat has its place in your calorie needs.

So easy and so yummy! I buy the Target Market Pantry Frozen Triple Berry Blend and whole wheat waffles (Kashi has good ones and there is brand at Target as well that I cannot remember. Put the waffles in the toaster, I toast twice on a low setting. Put the berries in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes (1/2 cup berries). Pour the berries on the waffles and enjoy. They make their own syrup! Under 200 calories! If I have time I add scrambled eggs.
  • my favourite easy breakfast is 1 slice of whole grain toast with peanut butter and a piece of fruit. (melon, kiwi, oranges, etc. not a banana because it's too carb-heavy)

im pretty traditional with my breakfast now .. egg white omelet with red bell pepper, onion, italian seasoning and pepper, topped with a sprinkle of franks hot sauce... and a bowl of plain oatmeal sprinkled with cinnamon -- no sugar and no milk......otherwise i will drink down a myoplex lite shake .. breakfast is tuff for me because im not a breakfast person.. you can make breakfast sandwiches though..using sandwich or bagel thins , egg whites, shredded cheddar chesse and whatever meat or sauteed veggies you want on there. those are nice because you can make a few a head of time and just grab them out of the fridge

    Bacon, eggs and protein shake.

Is bacon really healthy? I love it, but I've been avoiding it because I thought it was kinda bad for you.

I usually either fry an egg or have hard boiled egg whites, with some cuties oranges and/or grapes, or a banana. Sometimes I'll have a protein shake with banana mixed in. If I feel like spoiling myself I'll have a piece of bread/toast with honey butter on it, but I def wouldn't recommend that every day.
