BMR and RMR...HELP!

I have been in a two to three month plateau now...I can't seem to get below 162 lbs. In a forum elsewhere, I saw that if you eat less than your unadjusted RMR, you will plateau. Here is my calculated results:

Now, I run 4-6 miles 3-4 days a week, and do some Jillian Michaels on off-days. However, I'm now unemployed and mostly sit around when I'm not exercising...Does this mean I should be eating 1,499 calories or above? Or should it be 2,586? I eat at 1,200 now and haven't lost a pound (have gained since running) in months. I'm lost! This isn't rocket science!

    I would add a bit of calories and see if you get any results. Most likely not the high end as that would be to maintain but more than 1200 typically. I tend to stay between 1200 - 1500 depending on my day and I've been losing pretty regularly over the last two months.

    Thanks. I'm willing to try anything at this point...although I don't think I could possibly eat over 2,000 calories anymore!!

    I wouldn't go up that high - maybe add 200 - 300 calories a day and see how it goes.
