i was wondering what kind is good , im thinking of getting one but i want one that is very good can someone please give me what brand theirs is and how much ...

    I got the polar FT 60 after comparing it with others. Polar FT4 was my second choice, but FT60 had more features, such as tracking distance and such. The polar website is great for comparing models, but amazon.com had the best prices for me. FT4 us about $68-$80 and FT60 is $100-$125

    I have a Sigma PC 15 and I love it. It has loads of functions on it, but the only one I use is the Training Manager which shows me my heart rate, which zone I'm in (fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic, etc), time training, calories burnt, average and maximum heart rate during session, etc. I paid £35 for it which is around 48 USD. I was going to go for a Polar, but then figured this was quite a bit cheaper in the UK, had really good reviews, and extra functions.

    I love it!

    Polar FT4 and love it

    Just got mine a couple of days ago and it's great! My readings were higher than MFP's calories burned estimate but it's probably because I'd always just estimate how fast my pace was before where as the HRM is based off of exhertion. You'll love it. Trust us!

    Polar FT40 $110 from Amazon: Has a "fitness test" feature that FT4/FT7 don't, not as many bells and whistles as other Polar HRMs. I found Polar to be the best brand.
